Metal organic framework (MOF) in aqueous energy devices

Aqueous energy devices are under the spotlight of current research due to their safety, low cost and ease handling. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) derivatives have spurred extensive exploration as they provide a library new electrode materials. The rich structural flexibilities (such metal nodes, ligands, pore structure) endow MOFs MOFs-derivatives with vast opportunities for various devices. In this review, we discuss correlation between MOF parameters electrochemical performance aqueous in scope zinc-based batteries (Zn-ion, Zn-alkaline Zn-air batteries), potassium-ion supercapacitors. For each device, effect determinative factors modulating strategies highlighted. Finally, summarize challenges our perspective about future
